Location: Madsen Medical Direct Care located in downtown Chillicothe, Ohio
Employment Type: Monday and Thursday morning, 10 hours per week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and caring Phlebotomist to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by providing accurate, efficient, and gentle blood-draw services while contributing to our holistic care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection with precision and care.

Prepare specimens for laboratory processing and ensure accurate labeling.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe phlebotomy area in compliance with health regulations.

Provide compassionate patient support, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.

Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to contribute to patient-centered care.

Manage inventory of phlebotomy supplies and assist with inventory

Maintain accurate record of draws and input into lab system

Qualifications:

Certification in Phlebotomy (CPT) from an accredited program.

Current CPR certification.

Minimum of 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing empathetic patient care.

Familiarity with holistic and integrative medicine is a plus.

Proficiency in handling electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Attention to detail and adherence to strict safety and infection control protocols.
